Controlling vehicle access to a site can easily be achieved by one of the
following methods.
The controlling device can be operated by an intercom or one of the many reader
technologies such as key fob, proximity card, keypad or even automatically by
number plate recognition.
- Traffic Barriers are an effective and convenient means of controlling vehicle access to any site. Many sites choose barriers to control access because they are quick in operation (up to 1.5 seconds to open 90 degrees) as well as having an overt presence and are low in cost compared to other methods.
- Gates either new or existing can be automated to provide an access control system. They can also stop pedestrians entering the perimeter of a site without prior authorisation. They are generally slower in operation to barriers but this is not a problem if traffic flow rates are low. We are able to supply a vast range of automation products, for both sliding and swinging gates. Catering for all sizes, weights and shapes of gates, we have the right automation system for your needs.
- Rise and Fall Bollards are ideal in most situations to restrict vehicle access and movements. They are a very discreet system with minimum impact on their surroundings. Whilst being able to completely secure an entrance from vehicle access, the bollards still allow pedestrians and cyclists to easily manoeuvre through the entrance.
The rising bollards can be easily controlled by either remote key fob, transmitter or automatically controlled by using ground loops.
