Card Safes

Card Safes are used for securely displaying Permit to Work documentation. Wall mounted and lockable, they help to ensure that vital permits cannot be removed, defaced or lost.

We have two standard versions:

Single Hinged Card Safe

This unit is designed to hold a single-sided A4 sized permit, which is sandwiched between the metal back plate and the hinged clear PVC front panel. The document is locked in place by using padlocks. The padlock bar has a central hole for the S.A.P. padlock, and slots above and below for secondary locks. A pocket is provided at the rear of the unit for holding transfer documents.

Double Hinged Card Safe

The Double Hinged Card Safe is designed to hold a double-sided A4 document (or an A3 document folded in half). The document is held between two hinged PVC panels, which can swing out to show the reverse side of the document. As with the single hinged version, the permit is secured by using padlocks. A pocket is provided at the rear of the unit for holding transfer documents.
